After agreeing to take TCL on as a client, we moved on to the first stage of the design process – research. It was important for us to learn several things about the client. This includes the services that they offer, the businesses aims/objectives and their target audience. It was also necessary to conduct some research in to their competitors. Looking at what rival companies had done in terms of logo design and brand identity would help us with our design. All this information would act as the foundation for our logo.
Once research was completed, we moved on to the creative side of the process. This started with brainstorming our ideas for the logo. We will come up with several ideas and concepts for the design and decide on which suits the business the best. It’s important to us that you get exactly what you are looking for. Any guidelines or requests will be kept in mind at this stage.
We then had to sketch out the design – this is so we can make any small alterations to clean up the logo. Once it’s sketched out and we are happy with how it looks we will package it up and send it off to you. TCL Flooring were delighted with their final design.
