This is the stage when they let us know what sort of logo they wanted and we let them know what we could provide for their business.
The first stage of any design process is research. We needed to learn about Sales Force Academy. We needed to learn things such as what their service was, what aims/objectives they had and who their target demographic were. It’s also helpful to learn about their competitors. Looking at what rivals have done in terms of logo design and brand identity can help. We could look at what they done and incorporate aspects that had worked, while avoiding anything that didn’t. All this information would give us the best foundation for logo design.
After research was done, we moved on to brainstorming. At this stage we had to let our creative side out. Using what we had researched and what we had discussed with the client, we had a good idea of the direction we were going in.
The third stage of the process is sketching. We sketch out the designs before producing them because it is a good idea to see them in front of you. This way you can get a feel of the logo, while being able to make any minor changes to improve the overall quality.
We then produced and packaged up the logo and sent it to the client. Sales Force Academy were delighted with their design.
