Repeat Logo are a professional logo design company. We design logos for businesses in a range of different industries. Renovators Toolbox are a company in the retail sector. Renovators Toolbox specialise in helping people renovate their homes through a number of methods. The first product that they sell is guides for different types of renovation. They also offer budget management – helping you keep costs down in what is known as an expensive process. Also available is schedule tracking/management. This tool will let you keep up to date with where your renovation is at, compared to how far along it is meant to be.
There has been an increase in recent years of people choosing to renovate their homes rather than buying new ones. Because of this, there was a gap in the market for the service/products that Renovators Toolbox offer. As home renovation rapidly got more popular, there was an abundance of tradespeople yet a lack of people/businesses with specialities in planning these renovations.
Because the service that Renovators Toolbox were offering was fairly new and niche, they had to get their branding right. This would help capture the attention of potential customers, informing them of what the company can do for them.
A great way to develop a strong brand identity is through logo design. A logo is often the first thing that someone will see about your business. It should be attractive enough to entice them in to learn more about you as a company. The logo should also give an indication as to what type of business you are – letting the potential customer know instantly if it is something that they need. Companies should strive to make their logo part of who they are, if someone catches a glimpse of your logo they should know exactly who you are, what you do and what you stand for.
Once we had agreed to work with Renovators Toolbox, we moved on to our design process. The first stage of the process was research. We needed to learn about them as a business. Looking in to what services/products they offer, what their aims & objectives are and who their target demographic is would all be important to our design. It is also helpful to investigate what competitors have done in terms of logo design/branding. We would then be able to incorporate parts of their design that had worked, while leaving out anything that hadn’t been successful.
The next stage of our design process is brainstorming. This is the stage where we get creative and start to think about what the logo is going to look like. We use all the information gathered in the research stage, as well as any guidelines the client has given us. This information is then all used in order to think of the most suitable and attractive designs for that particular business.
Once the team has decided on a logo it will be sketched out. This way we can make any minor changes that will perfect the logo design. We then packaged up this design and sent it off to Renovators Toolbox, who were delighted with the final outcome.
This is one of numerous retail logo designs we have completed. We have enjoyed each one, as they have given us a new challenge. If you have an idea for a logo, or any questions – get in contact with us today.
