We work with businesses all over the world, this particular client was based in France. Mod Sapiens are a company that specialise in selling all different types of women’s shoes. They aim to keep up with the trends and sell the most fashionable trainers, boots, shoes and sandals available on the market. This is done through selling hundreds of different brands and styles of shoe. They want to make the products they sell available to everyone.

Whether that be a new brand taking the market by storm, or another independent boutique popping up in your town centre. This has made it one of the most competitive industries to be a part of. There is so much competition for market share that a lot of companies will not last the distance. Once we had agreed to work with Mod Sapiens, we moved on to our design process. The first stage we had to complete was research. Learning about Mod Sapiens as a business – what products/services they offer, what their aims & objectives are and who their target market are would be important. It is also helpful to learn what competitors have done in terms of logo design. This way we can incorporate anything that has worked for them and avoid aspects that hadn’t.
Brainstorming was the next stage of the process. This is the stage when we take all the information learned by our research and start to get creative. We will start to think and develop ideas for the logo design. It is important to us that you get the most suitable logo for your company, so we will always listen to any guidelines/pointers you may have.
After brainstorming we will sketch out our selected design. This gives us a better feel of the logo. We are also able to make any changes to improve the final product. We then had to package up our final design and send it to Mod Sapiens.
