Repeat Logo are a professional logo design company. We design high-quality logos for any business, no matter what the industry. GoCars are a company in the transport industry. The main operation at the business is logistics. They provide the transportation of goods between two points, having a number of clients. For example, they will move goods from sea ports to warehouse and vice versa. GoCars also provide freighter services – for moving goods over a larger distance (whether that be a truck, boat, plane or other method). Finally, they also provide brokerage services – providing clients with some financial securities.
The transport industry has seen tremendous growth over the years. Especially when it comes to logistics. There are more goods being imported and exported than ever. People are becoming more materialistic and want the latest technology, fashion and merchandise. This has then increased the demand in people offering the service of transporting these goods. Everyone will know at least one logistics company – whether that be UPS, FedEx or someone else. Which means it can be difficult for the smaller firms to get in on the market share. This is when it becomes important for these less well known brands, like GoCars, to develop a brand identity.
Developing a brand identity can set you apart from competitors. It will mean that people know exactly what your company does and what it stands for. The best way to start building an identity for your company is through logo design. A logo is going to be the face of your business, it is what potential customers are going to see first, and what returning customers are going to remember you by. Therefore, it needs to be eye-catching enough to capture a passer-by’s attention, whilst being informative enough that they know instantly what you are offering to them.
Once we agreed to work with GoCars, we moved on to our design process. The process started out with research. It was important for us to learn about GoCars as a company. Looking in to what service they offered, what their aims and objectives were and who their target demographic/market are would help us start to build a foundation. It is also helpful to look in to the clients competitors. What are they doing in terms of logo design? We could then work with aspects that were successful for them, whilst avoiding any that hadn’t been successful.
After research was complete, we could move on to the brainstorming stage. This is a personal favourite amongst the Repeat Logo team as it is where we can get creative. Using all the information that has been learned in the previous stage, combined with any guidelines from the client. We will then think up the most eye-catching, yet suitable logo design for GoCars.
The third stage of our process is sketching. We will sketch down our chosen design so that we can get a better perspective on it. This also allows us to make any minor changes to the design to improve our final product. We then had to package it up and send it off to the client.
We would love the opportunity to do more transport logo design. If you have an idea for a logo or any questions, get in contact with us today.
