They are based in Australia and New Zealand, ran by two men – Kevin Campbell and Tim Wassell. The business specialises in finding roles for professionals in the automotive and heavy diesel industry. Campbell & Partners work tirelessly with companies and professionals in order to find the right fit. They believe that the only way for them to stay successful is through finding “win-win-win” situations for all three parties.
Recruitment agencies are an important part of every industry. They are able to find the right fit for both employers and employee. That means that businesses get people that fit in to their brand and employees get to work for businesses that they identify with. Because a lot of companies – in all different sectors – rely so heavily on these agencies, there has been an increase in companies trying to vie for market share. This has made it more important than ever for companies such as Campbell & Partners to stand out from their competition.
The best way to separate yourself from competitors is through a strong brand identity. This was something that Campbell & Partners needed to develop. In order to start building this identity, a strong logo design was required. Your company’s logo is often the first thing that people will see. It needs to be eye-catching enough to capture the consumers’ attention. Any businesses logo should instantly tell the person looking at it what the company stands for and what they do. In this case, it was important that people knew that Campbell & Partners were a recruitment agency for the automotive and diesel sector.
The first stage of our design process was to research Campbell & Partners. We wanted to learn what they did as a business, what their aims & objectives were and who their target market was. All this information would be able to give us a good idea of the direction of our logo design. It was also helpful to look in to what their competitors had been doing in terms of their logos. We could then adopt aspects that had worked for them, while avoiding aspects that were less successful.
Once the research stage was done, we could move on to a more creative stage. Brainstorming. This is the stage where we start to think about different ideas for the logo design. We will always keep in mind any guidelines that the client has gave us, whilst also using the information learned in the previous stage. Depending on the package you have purchased, we will come up with one or more designs.
After brainstorming we had to sketch out the chosen design. By sketching it out and having it as a tangible object, we get a better feel for the final product. This will also allow us to make any minor changes to improve the design. We then had to package up the product and send it off to Campbell & Partners.
